Review on Pfister S10-3300 Porcelain Cross Rebuild Kit with Three Handles, Polished Chrome Finish by Tarrance Man

Poor molding design - mismatch

The instructions (and on the back of the box) state that the chrome molding is secured with a set screw. The trimmer does not contain this function. Instead, the base rings are held in place by a valve trim recess that threads onto the valve. In my case, the rosette cannot be screwed in deep enough to lock the base rosette in place. Even if it could be screwed in further, the ends of the valve would remain open. what can't be right. I fixed the ill-fitting trim by purchasing new chrome base trim pieces from Home Depot ($21). I opened an incident on the Pfisters website but no one responded. Save yourself the trouble and order another set. . It's more trouble than it's worth.
