This is a direct replacement for Price Pfister cartridges and diverters. Very easy to install, just make sure you have the right tools. Installed this kit yesterday. My wife loves the new look (we used to have clear acrylic handles that we had to constantly tighten to stay on the stick and the fact that they were clear meant you could see all the mold growing in them), and there is no more permanent apostasy. The parts appear to be well made and generally of good quality, original Pfister brands. They come with new water valves, a new central shower diverter, new seats and trim kits with handles. You have a 42 year old house and the old fixture had Windsor acrylic handles that always got wet and moldy inside the acrylic where you couldn't access without disassembly.
