This is our second. The first was a big turning point for my Corgi who likes to be stubborn and dominant at times. After a few years we decided to buy a new one, although the old one works fine. Interesting, but I think I charge the remote maybe twice a year, the battery lasts forever. I liked the new version a little better, now the collar can be adjusted better. They list it as a waterproof device so you know for a corgi that's low to the ground this is a perfect improvement because we go to the beach a lot and he loves to taste the water. I always worried about the collar getting wet. Another nice thing they've added is that the remote now shows the collar's charge level, which is nice to know. Overall the quality is excellent and gets worse with every penny spent. My dog is now perfectly trained and behaves like a true gentleman.
