I bought a pastel for silk painting. This is not to say that they are not intended for this, but the result is unexpected. According to the instructions, pastel can be used for any natural fabric. It works best on cotton. The colors are bright but do not mix with each other. I have 15 colors and that's enough for me. They look like oil pastels. When the pastel is erased, it is inconvenient to use. The thick tip does not allow you to draw fine details and clear lines. Hands don't get dirty. The pattern is easily and simply fixed with an iron. You just need to iron the drawing through a white sheet of paper according to the instructions. A greasy imprint of a fabric pattern remains on the paper, it reminds me of a trace of paraffin. After fixing, the pattern can be erased.
