Review on Dorman H38435 Hydraulic Brake Hose by Russ Charmin

Worthless on my 1988 Mark VII

Not impressed. This Chinese made hose is not the right size where the hard steel brake lines are supposed to connect along the axle housing. Should be 1/2, here is 7/16. No use for my 1988 Mark VII. However, I will cover the return costs. By examining this part, the application tables show that this is the correct part. No, that is not so. If anyone is looking for a rear center brake hose for an 88, 89, 90 etc Mark VII, look for the 1991 model. I've looked at several makes 88's and 89's. All have larger fittings. The databases for these hoses are wrong here, Rock Auto and AutoZone to name a few. In general I am not satisfied at all. Downtime and return shipping will be paid for by the customer for the part not suitable for the application. Didn't want to do the job cheaply. Just wanted to do it right. This is the first negative review I have ever written for purchasing a product. Not the one who sends things back, there is no choice here. OK.
