I haven't noticed much of a difference
I've been using K&N for years so I decided to buy it for my 2019 V6 powered Jeep Cherokee in hopes of better fuel economy. The only thing I took away from replacing the stock air filter was an angrier sound when I hit the gas pedal to merge or pass someone. Other than that, I got 26mpg on my stock filter. Best I'm getting at the moment is around 23 and yes that's under normal driving. Not even in sport mode.
