Review on 🧶 Stanwood Needlecraft Wooden Umbrella Swift - Medium: Perfect Yarn Winder for Effortless Crafting and Tangle-Free Knitting by Tara Ford

Bought this Swift from Revain less than a year ago. Great price and fast accurate delivery. Like many of you, I bought it to be able to make good "cakes" with yarn without having to wrap a skein myself or ask other household members. As some say, the width of the hole for the swift to get snagged on the worktop or counter is small. In front of me is a small table with pattern instructions, a ball roller and a place to clip a swift. The swift, once pinched, sits high on the table and can get in the way. So I unscrewed the swift and put it away on many occasions when I felt my project was going to take some time. Just last week I was trying to lift my swift and found the screw had snapped. I can barely attach it to the table and when I do the Swift wobbles because it doesn't fit the table snugly. Here are some photos. The first is the piece that came loose. The second is a shot of the underside/side of the Swift anchor table. Overall, Swift runs smooth and great, but there's a problem. There is also a 1 year warranty on these blades. I emailed Stanwood immediately after posting this review. To my surprise, I received an email response from the manager within 2 hours and it's Saturday! He immediately replied that he would send a new screw for free. Excellent customer service!
