Review on Fuel Helmets Bungee Cord Cargo by Travis Smith

Don't push - accept its limitations

I use this on the back of my GS500F. That definitely makes things easier, because otherwise I wouldn't have any storage space on the bike. Now I can walk to the supermarket for some groceries without taking my backpack with me. I left it on the bike all summer, just a slight tug on the saddle. It seemed to stretch as I used it (and I didn't use it that much). Now it's almost useless as I put a five liter can of engine oil under it. I passed someone and thought the pitcher fell out. It turned out to stay in place but sag completely out of the saddle on the side of the bike. When I deployed my U-Turn it flew out and now the bungee is so tight it barely stays in the seat. I'm giving it 4 stars because it was probably my fault for pushing it to the limit. If you save it for light items, don't stretch it to the limit, and maybe keep it under your seat or in your bag until you need it, it will likely work just fine. I'll probably buy another one next season and just use it for easier tasks.
