If you want to avoid costly trips to the mechanic, get this. 9/10 Your check engine light is a problem that can be ignored or fixed yourself. Avoid expensive trips to a mechanic who will charge you $50-$100 for a "diagnostic check" (meaning using a similar item for the same check you can do in five minutes with this device) and just run it yourself through. Easy to use and great value for the money you save.
