Nice replacement part for my 2006 Prius

but I have absolutely no chance of getting the screws out. You have no leverage. If you had someone to hold the hatch while you lift it, you might be able to pull it out. small screwdriver. If I were ever lucky enough to put it in the head of a screw, the only direction the screw would move would be RIGHT. not left. I also had to remove the license plate because the license plate cover was too thick and I couldn't angle the screwdriver enough. OF COURSE, this led to another nightmare. a frozen screw that eventually broke. This left me with the need to drill out that screw and hope I have something to replace it with. I ended up gluing the (literally) old latch cover back on and covering it with tape to protect it from water. My lock still works. I just need to replace the melted lid. I just ordered a set of Anex Low Profile ratchets recommended by the first reviewer (thanks). I'll try. I hope the screws haven't snapped off now. Hard to say since you can't see the screw head. Yesterday I watched the IE Works tutorial video on YouTube and wondered why he removed the license plate? Now I know. Just be aware that you may need to do the same. I can't fault IE Works at all. Toyota? Yes. It shouldn't have been that hard. Nice replacement part and looks like it would fit perfectly. Just get a better screwdriver because the one that comes with it is pretty much useless.
