After searching for quality single-mode flashlights, I settled on a couple that Amazon called "1-mode" but were actually three-mode. I don't know why most consumers need a strobe function, I find it very annoying and a headache to just toggle through to make the flashlight work the way I normally use it, ie to illuminate things. If there were 3 separate buttons, one for each mode, I would buy them. But it's a button. So, here it is at last. Cree 1-Mode UltraFire Flashlight. I would also like to point out that rubber buttons often differ on these similar batteries. This is a nice and big button, it's very easy to press, but it doesn't accidentally work in a pocket or backpack. People underestimate how annoying a flashlight can be when the button is very short and hard to press. In fact, it is now a flashlight that I will measure all other flashlights against. I received three and immediately ordered another set of three.
