Easy to use and works with quad shielded cable.
They are great for DIY enthusiasts. I bought a "own" DirecTV receiver to bypass DirecTV's hardware fees and add another TV to our house (you still have to pay an additional subscription fee). They worked great and even DirecTV thought they looked good and didn't replace them when we had problems with another receiver. I've also used them to install an antenna in the attic to later replace DirecTV and so far they've all worked on the first try. The quad shielded cable fits a little tight, but it takes some effort to fit.
