Watch the video before installing

I have installed many new HDs on Windows machines. It was my first Mac. After watching many videos about cloning my hard drive, I decided to do a fresh install on the hard drive via Thunderbolt first. Once I finally figured out how to change the drive to a GUID (click the SSD icon, not the default partition selector), it was very easy. I used the Mac migration option and all my files were moved. Nothing is lost! I love having a Macbook with all the ports I need without using a USB-C dock and having enough storage now and in the future.
