I bought this for my 1978 Craftsman wood lathe, it requires MT 1. Fills well, bearings turn smoothly with no play. The diagram on the box shows 5000rpm max. I chose this live hub because it has three bearings instead of one. Other wood turning centers I've looked at in this price range have complained of sloppy bearings and bearing collapse.
