Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the device very much, I'm still working on filling it with floppy disks. Definitely worth your money!

Bought after about a month of research, it was the only 4-bay box I could find in my price range with an Intel quad-core processor, NVME cache, HDMI out, and DDR4 RAM . Having had a fantastic experience with Asus in the past and knowing the connections between the two companies, I decided to give it a try. SO HAPPY I DID THIS. Had to contact support twice, once because I was an idiot and couldn't find some files, I figured it out before they did. The second time was because I had issues with NVME which turned out to be dead out of the box. Support took longer than I would have liked and it wasn't my assigned technician who fixed the issue but someone else. I can also confirm with 100% certainty that my device currently has 12GB of RAM. All the packages and specs say 8GB max which I tried and I received an 8GB chip instead of a 4GB chip which I didn't even notice until my RAM showed 12 but I can confirm, that this is a case. So far I've added a hard drive, NVME for cache and RAM. I would buy this device again without hesitation. Added: August 2021, about a year after I bought it. I still love it very much. Now it's full of disks and works great. I also had an experience that really impressed me while corresponding with the support team. I got emails from one of the staff, Sean, with suggestions and he emailed me until a solution was found. I didn't know it was Sean Shu, the company's President and CEO. I'm a home user, I use it for a media center, basically a fashion toy compared to people who use it for business. Getting that kind of support from the CEO really told me a lot about Asustor and its commitment to its customers. This step probably made me a client for life.
