Friction noise from alternator and alternator
Pretty easy to install, often done on air-cooled engines. After installation, a knock can be heard at high speeds. Took it off to make sure the fan wasn't rubbing against the fairing, which can happen with an air-cooled engine. Had not. The alternator works perfectly, only rubs at high revs. Emailed the company with no response.
