Yes, it is difficult to get to the place where this pedal is installed. Yes, there were no instructions. First, I firmly attached the pedal to the bracket, then installed and tightened the bracket. All the parts lined up and it worked fine until I hit the pedal. There are no lock washers in the kit, so the connection of the pedal to the bracket has come loose and the pedal has come loose. I ended up taking everything back and using some Loctite to keep it from coming loose. I'm glad I now have a dead pedal, but I hope I never have to fiddle with it again. Mid-tones in audio also vibrate through this pedal, especially things like voices in podcasts. A speaker is placed in the same place, and this vibration propagates. Sometimes it can be annoying. Not the fault of the pedal, but something to consider when using this type of pedal.
