Yes, it is difficult to get to the place where this pedal is installed. Yes, there were no instructions. First, I firmly attached the pedal to the bracket, then installed and tightened the bracket. All the parts lined up and it worked fine until I hit the pedal. There are no lock washers in the kit, so the connection of the pedal to the bracket has come loose and the pedal has come loose.
