Review on 🔪 Unleash Precision Perfection with Freud Precision Serrated Forstner PB 009 by Rip Twin

Freud Precision Serrated Drill Bit, 1-1/2" 3/8" Shank (PB-011). Project: Drill an inch and a half diameter hole through a 5 inch thick piece of Brazilian Ebony (For reference: Oak has a 1290 Janka Hardness, this ebony has a 3690 Janka Hardness, making it three times harder as oak). I burned a brand new Forstner bit from a big store and only gotten 1/16" deep. This Freudian drill bit cut through this ebony like a hot knife through butter. 8 is off center so I threw that piece away and started from front.The second time was the same as the first (except it was off center) and after I was done I found no deterioration in the sharpness of the cut surfaces.Like it was brand new and the edges of the hole looked like they were laser cut , nice and smooth. Oh my god! I've always known Freud was at the top but never justified the cost. I will only buy Freud in the future.
