Not good! You have several problems. #1. Small bits and granular starch from each tea will flow out of the seal. #2. They are difficult to glue without a tee at the edge where the two halves are close together. Number 3. They don't hold much and when you try to fill more it's difficult to close the top half without covering the tea pieces between the edge where the two halves meet. Because of this, loose tea leaks worse than putting some tea in to prevent leakage. #4 Cleaning is more difficult than other brewers I've used. I love the JAMES BENTLEY teapots that you can find here at Revain. #5. The strainer doesn't stick well to the edges because when I try to remove tea particles from inside the strainer near the edge, it's difficult to pull out the stuck bits that get stuck between the strainer and the strainer small border. If you lift the net slightly to loosen bits of tea stuck there, the net will easily detach from that edge, leaving a weak spot for the tea to come out of next time you use it. Hope this all helps but seriously get your hands on JAMES BENTLEY teapots which have top and bottom lids that unscrew for better and very easy cleaning and just better filled with any tea from all sides and so the best quality in every respect.
