If you don't line up your tea infuser properly before capping (not an easy task) you will end up with tea leaves in your cup.

Exactly what I wanted in a tea infuser: easy to open, holds a decent amount of tea leaves and closes securely. Plus, they're sold in sets of two, so you can give one to a friend's tea party.

The screens are fine and appear to be rust free but after a few uses the pin holding the screens together is a poor quality material that has corroded . It should be made of more durable material.

I really like the strainer, it works great, holds stuff in place with no leakage issues. I order two and one was incomplete, it didn't have the rest of the hook chain to place it on the rim of the mug, I have to hold it and dip like a regular tea bag. Not good! You have several problems. #1. Small bits and granular starch from each tea will flow out of the seal. #2. They are difficult to glue without a tee at the edge where the two halves are close together. Number 3. They don't hold much and when you try to fill more it's difficult to close the top half without covering the tea pieces between the edge where the two halves meet.
