I recently bought this pepper grinder as a last resort to enjoy freshly ground pepper. I recently had wrist surgery and the standard pepper mill irritates my wrist. The pepper mill arrived very well packaged in bubble wrap. After unpacking, I found that it is powered by USB and not by battery as expected. After washing, I charged it. It took about half an hour to fully charge. After charging poured pepper. There is a small dial on the top that you can use to set the desired pepper size. Once that's done, just tip the grinder over your food and the machine just starts grinding and chopping the peppers, no effort on my part! Literally just tip. The pepper mill itself is very quiet considering it has a motor. We had 12 meals and every family member used it every time. It is important to note that the strength of the charge has not yet decreased. Still runs on a single charge! Too bad I don't have two and use the other for my Himalayan Pink Rock Salt. I think now I know what my next purchase will be. It's worth every penny. Sincerely, A satisfied customer.
