I bought this to replace a lost 2013 Samsung PN64F8500 plasma remote control. The image in the ad is identical to the model I received. The remote is Samsung branded and claims to be new, although there were some surface marks on both sides of the remote that have not been polished. This could be because it's only packaged in a plastic bag (in addition to Amazon's excellent outer packaging). There was no documentation, and no documentation was needed. As mentioned in the description, batteries are not included and you need to buy 2 x AAA batteries. When delivered, the remote control easily controls all functions of the F8500. All buttons including "Power", "Volume", "Source", "Menu", "Tools", "Smart Hub" and "3D" work without additional programming. There is a glowing button on the remote that works. While a previous reviewer noted that this illuminated all buttons on the remote, it only illuminated the volume and channel buttons on what I received. Overall it's worth the price I paid for it. I haven't had this long enough to comment on reliability and I'll probably only update this if the remote fails prematurely.
