Review on ๐Ÿšฒ CST Patrol Trail Tire by Loren Jacobson

Impressive, especially for the price

I bought them from Sea Otter a few years ago. They sold them so cheaply that I couldn't turn them down, believing they would at least reduce the wear on my more expensive tires. I have a version with kevlar balls. I don't know what this list is for, wire or kevlar. I have to say I would put them against more expensive tyres, no matter the price. They're still fairly light, stretchy, stick well, and wear well. Expensive tires sacrifice some wear in favor of softer rubber that sticks better. They're less soft but still have a pretty decent stick. I've been riding them on my XC 29er hardtail for probably 6 years now (on real trails, dirt and rocks, not tarmac) and maybe 1000 miles. They're a bit worn, but the edges of the handle are still pretty sharp and still cut well. I run them with ultra-light tubes. I don't know if they are tubeless compatible or not. Anyway, I'm not a fan of tubeless, but I might try again in the future. Does anyone know if the tubeless are compatible?
