Review on Bridgestone Potenza S001 225/40 R19 89Y summer by Adam Mielczarek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Mazda 6 MPS, took to replace the regular Potenza Re 050. Size 215/45 R18. Before buying, read the reviews and information of the manufacturer. I took it because of the reinforced cord. Another option was Hankook. At 2 tire shops, they couldn’t put on rubber easier. I had to go to a more expensive tire fitting. The rubber is heavy due to the steel cord. Took in 2022. In the same year, on the M5 highway in Bashkiria, I got into a huge hole in 2 wheels, it was not possible to leave because of the oncoming lane. The blow was very strong. I went out to look - there is not a trace on the rubber or on the disk. If there were tires from another manufacturer, you would most likely have to throw away both the tire and the disk. As a result of that hit this year's tie rod menu. It is better not to ride on mud and wet grass. A tire for both good roads and bad roads (with pits), unlike other manufacturers.

Pros
  • Excellent road holding, durable.
Cons
  • Heavy.
