The right size for the job!
My bedroom faces west, so I chose woven fabric instead of blackout curtains. The poles are exactly the size I need for the weight of the fabric. I pinched the fabric, inserted the rod and tucked the rod behind my regular curtains. Less sun without completely darkening my room.
