Exchanged after 2 1/2 years - guarantee cost nothing

Had to be exchanged after only 2 1/2 years of normal use. I contacted the company for a warranty repair/replacement and they requested the same information that I had already provided. In this case, the faucet is not closed. I ended up recycling that junk and spending more on a higher quality replacement that should last more than a few years!
