My little 10 lb Maltese chews at the location of the squeaker until she can tear the fabric and pull it out. I had to pull the squeaker out of her mouth before she swallowed it, and she had already swallowed small pieces of the plastic. I don't want to pay large prices for toys that will only end up in the trash a week or two later - maybe three weeks if I'm lucky. The crinkle toys are nice but the squeaker causes danger to my fur-baby. Any ideas are appreciated.
