This seat cover works great. It is water repellent or at least sustainable. My dog spilled most of her water bowl on it and when I checked it was dry. So as long as there are no tears or holes, it protects from liquids as it should. The only problem and hence 4 stars is that it gets dirty quickly! Only from a dog walking on asphalt or dirt and then standing on it. No problem as this appears to be machine washable. Have to wash it and see how it holds up. I would have liked a darker color to hide dirt a little better but it does what it's supposed to and sits very well in my seat without bouncing. I use it on a 2006 Honda Ridgeline leather seat.
