Review on DELTA U1075-PK Chrome Diverter Tub Spout by David Mills

This kit contains pretty much everything you need (with the possible exception of a pipe cutter and sandpaper). It works with 1/2" plain or threaded wall pipe, 3/4" threaded pipe, or plastic pipe with a threaded fitting on the end. The instructions are clear, the various installation options and the parts used are shown in the graphic and described in plain text. I like that the two main parts are metal and feel solid and made with attention to detail. For a smooth pipe installation like mine it is important that the lip seal slides easily over the smooth pipe yet creates a strong watertight seal and stays securely in place. The clamp in this set is solid brass, with rubber O-rings inside and out, and a set screw (small Allen key included!) on the end of the wall. It screws onto a sturdy plastic tubing extension (sealed with the included Teflon tape threaded on both ends) and a nicely shaped metal grommet screws onto it. The end appears to be easily replaceable when worn out.
