The intense barking has stopped!
I needed something to stop my pit bull from barking at the neighbors when they were mowing the lawn and ringing the doorbell. That helped. The only negative is its sensitivity when my dog plays or shakes his hair - it comes loose. Positive aspects: 1) ease of use; 2) good fit; 3) trained her to be more depressed when she's at it. I would recommend for the price and need. If you're looking for something to teach your dog to stay away from furniture and the like, you might want to lean towards the collar that comes with the remote control.
