Review on YKEY Programmable Pocket Size Soldering Acceleration by Andre Belitz

Fully functional whilst still being good value for money

Good soldering iron for home and field use This is a very good soldering iron, much better than the large conventional soldering irons I have ever used. It comes with a 19V power adapter and heats up in seconds. And even you can adjust the temperature very conveniently during operation. If you put it down and don't move it, the temperature will drop and it will go into standby mode. If you take it in hand, it will heat up again in a short time, very smart and safe. Metal bodies cover the end of the handpiece, I really like this design. There are holes on it, so I think it's used for radiation so the controller won't get too hot after a long time use. After using it for about 30 minutes, I tried to touch the metal case, it's warm but not that hot. If you touch the case during use, you cannot hurt yourself. In fact, it prevents me from touching the hot iron and reminds me to be careful. So I find this little suitcase very useful. I bought an XT60 cable somewhere and connected this TS100 to my lipo battery, it also works well for field repairs. Reminder: The XT60 cable and battery are not included in this item, and they say it can be used from a car power supply, but I think you need to find a suitable cable for it, I haven't tried it yet. For home use, you don't have to look for anything else, the power supply is included in the scope of delivery. I will update this review in the future if I find something new.
