Review on General Tools DCFM8906 Digital Display by Mark Morrow

I bought a house and there were numerous leaks in the air ducts. Before I started repairing leaks I bought this gauge to measure the existing airflow. I also remeasured several times as I worked and measured the end results. While I did feel an obvious improvement in airflow and heat and cold distribution, it was nice to have some data to work with. While the counter definitely worked well for this project, I'll only use it occasionally now that the job is done. for this tool. If you're in a similar situation, you need to decide if it's worth spending money on. If I could rent or borrow a similar instrument, I would. Pros: It works as described. Including a nice hard case. Cons: The cord is short and easy to unplug. A cable with a locking connector would be a better design. The thermometer function is useful but responds slowly. Notes: Someone asked a question about calibration certification. It doesn't have anything but the instruction manual says it meets some standards which I posted in the answer.
