Recommended for ages 3+ but bought these for my 22 month old daughter because she destroys the crayons recommended for toddlers her age. They don't have paper wrappers to peel off. They don't break if she uses too much force or if she "accidentally" drops them on the ground and steps on them. Only a small piece of crayon is exposed at the tips so little toddlers can't smear chalk all over and they can't eat/chew a lot of crayon when you're not looking. Thanks to their design, they helped my little girl learn how to hold her pen correctly when writing. And they're long, with a lot of chalk in the barrel, so they last a long time. maybe until she's 3+. This is a great product for drawing with colored pencils, much better than traditional colored pencils. I keep these 8 packs in my diaper bag to keep my little one entertained when we go out especially at restaurants. I have a set of 24 colored pencils for home use. I love her and highly recommend her.
