Incorrect accelerator pump size. The accelerated pump cup was too small, frankly sloppy in the hole, doesn't squeeze fuel when accelerating. Wrong size pinch seal or nest of needles in nest, also had to dig up the right sizes from older kids I rescued. Some parts just weren't quite right. Before I bought this kit I double checked that it was the correct k1t they were selling for the SAE J1223 carburetor I was building. They assured me this is the right kit, it's in the Q&A section. I'm no newbie at this, I've been building carburetors since 1986, I'm an ASE certified master mechanic with over 30 years of experience. So if anyone still knows today whether this kit is good or bad, it's me. This is not a good kit.
