This thermometer is functional and interesting. I don't need a function that measures the temperature of objects, but it's certainly interesting to use! I like that the batteries are easy to change and I already have these batteries at home. I like the green, yellow, and red temperature limits. This allows for super fast reading. The current thermometer I use measures three seconds, which seems like an eternity to a fidgety child. My current thermometer also uses button cell batteries, which I don't usually have on hand. In addition, this thermometer turns off automatically after fifteen seconds without wasting any more batteries. I love that this thermometer can be turned off for readings in the middle of the night. It's easy and quick to use to check your pace every day before school. This definitely saves time! I appreciate the carrying case and the easy to read instructions.
