Redemption - Kimo vs Petra

I really wanted to like this sprayer, but unfortunately, I am one of the unlucky ones! Initial testing with water in the tank, the sprayer seemed to run fine and both wands worked out well. It's a sturdy pump and the perfect size for me because I'm of small stature. I filled it with product and started spraying. It sprayed well for about 2 minutes and then it just seem to lose pressure and eventually drip product. The tank was over half full, so the issue was not due to lack of product. I tried and tried, but I guess the pump is just not good. I considered getting a replacement but I'll just stick with my 2 gallon Scott's battery sprayer, which hasn't failed me since purchasing about 8 months ago.UPDATE: Kimo's customer service reached out to me and offered a replacement, so I took them up on it. I'm very happy that I did because I really like this sprayer. The first one was definitely defective, but the replacement really performed well. I did a comparison video with Kimo and Petra on my Youtube channel (GirlzLawn), but to sum it up, the Kimo out performed the Petra for me. The spray pattern is what really won me over. The coverage is great with this sprayer (and the TeeJet) tip that I use. The sprayer felt good on my back and was a very comfortable spray. I also like the switch for low to high PSI. Kimo has a 2yr warranty, so I feel good about taking a chance with this sprayer. If the battery holds up, I'll be one happy customer. I just wish Kimo had replaced this a bit earlier because I won't be actually spraying with it again until the Spring.UPDATE April 2022Although Kimo reached out and replaced this sprayer for me, I am now having an issue with it and the customer service is just not very responsive. I really like this sprayer, but I definitely don't want to buy a new backpack sprayer yearly. I was comfortable giving it another try due to the 2yr warranty, but that is useless if the customer service doesn't respond. I will say that the 3 gallon the perfect size for someone of smaller stature. I just don't like the 4 gallon sprayers with the extra weight.
