I almost gave up on this bed but now I like it. stick with it. Tried to clean, tried different calibrations - nothing. Luckily, I kept reading and realized what I was doing wrong - not letting it warm up normally. The glass is thick and the contact between the printer bed and the glass is poor - so it takes much longer to heat up than the magnetic layer, so if you start printing immediately after the layer has heated up, the sensor is still too cold for the glass layer a liability. I set the layer heat to 70C in the preheat and after reaching the temperature let it warm up for another 3-5 minutes then started printing. The thread stuck to her like glue. Take your time if you're struggling - I started at 5mm/s and worked my way up to 20 with perfect alignment. Maybe I can go even faster. When the bed cools down to 35-40 degrees, the imprints come off almost by themselves. Let it cool down, take your time. The finish on the underside of the parts is nice, with a bit of plating etching, but otherwise very smooth - you can even see the reflection in the black PLA. And so many videos get it wrong - the bar is 0.1mm thick, if you null it with one of these your actual null point will be 0.1mm higher and you will under-extrude the first layer. Raise the head 0.1mm then align with the latch, no more fiddling with the flow of the first layer. Again, make sure you are perfectly aligned with the bed. IT WORKS!
