I don't have an exotic bike. This is a 1998 Huffy MTB with 24" wheels that I found abandoned on my property when I bought the house. Most likely, the Chinese Walmart is designed specifically for the child. The cones that come with them are too big for the hub, so I had to use the originals. In any case, the finish on the cones was poor and would have required some filing to use them. The lock nuts were too wide so I reused the originals. Seems like the axles could have been a few millimeters longer to better match my front fork. After installing the front axle I noticed that one of the plastic washers that the arm presses onto the fork is missing, so I doubt I'll be using the rear axle. I understand you get what you pay for, but I didn't even get what I paid for. That said, the front axle quick release, which I was able to install in about 30 minutes with a mix of old and new parts, seems to work. I don't know yet how it will hold up.
