This toy is advertised as a toy for small to medium sized birds but I would classify it as more of a medium sized bird. My budgie enjoys watching me play, although he is intimidated by the size and cannot approach him. It's well made with bold colored plastic rings (like what people wear) attached to metal loops and chains. The ball is made of fairly thick plastic. I don't have large birds so I can't confirm how easily their beak strength can ruin this, but I doubt cockatiels or kennels will be able to, except with time. – Debbie Lee Wesselman
