I bought this unit to use to make "zoodles" (zucchini noodles) because I didn't want to buy a spiralizer (which is normally used exclusively for zoodles) and wanted a tool that more can . This tool is sharp and cuts well. Ideal for peeling and julienne. Great for adding shredded carrots to a salad etc. But it didn't really do what I wanted for my zoodles because it can only cut back and forth so it just shreds veggies. And that's okay. They're still edible and they cut great, but they just don't serve the purpose I was hoping for. It's not really Unves' fault, but I can't blame anyone. Hence it only gets a 3 star rating. I am sorry.
