I had a large white oak panel with a living edge, about 9 feet long and 2.5 feet wide, with a crease and crease in several places. White oak is a heavy and hard wood. It's even harder than American walnut, so I was rightfully skeptical about the effectiveness of this bait. I started on the bottom of the board as it was flatter and I figured that once I had leveled one side it would be easier to level the other side. I built a carriage for the router, found the highest point on the slab, hooked up the dust collector to the router, and got to work. This little piece did not disappoint. I was able to finish a page in about an hour, even after shaving a bit. The blade stayed sharp the entire time (although I would probably sharpen it before using it again). Needless to say, I'm very impressed with it. It also came with a 1/2" to 1/4" collet. I didn't have to use it, but since I didn't have it, it was a nice bonus.
