If you like burn marks and cracks/chips this is the racket for you!

I took a whisper of material on each pass and this thing was still eating and burning my cutting board. I'm more than disappointed. I've used router bits (straight and flush) many times to level cutting boards with varying degrees of success, but none of my previous attempts have ever ended so badly. I am returning this product and sticking with my tried and tested method of sanding. Endless.

Pros
  • Power Tools and Hand Tools
Cons
  • So-so

Good for smoothing but leaving lines

What I like about this bit is that it smooths very well. I made a router sled to level a 2 x 3 foot cutting board I made and removed each about 1/4 x 1/2 inch. Big! I DID NOT LIKE IT: The shaft length was frustratingly short for my purpose. The worst were the tiny lines that the outer cutting blades would leave. Not big and not deep, but very difficult to sand the end grain.

Pros
  • Cutter
Cons
  • Good but not great

Works great when sharp

I have used this tip 4 times. In total, I cut about 4 feet x 8 inches of wood by 0.1 inches. The first use of this tool worked wonders. After that it started leaving bad burn marks on my wood. my serves and speeds. Removing just 0.02" per pass still doesn't burn well. The tip itself didn't stay sharp for very long and I'm disappointed in the purchase. It has great reviews so I'm guessing it was an accident with my dentures.

Pros
  • MULTI-PURPOSE MILLING TOOL: This professional floor scraper is ideal not only for leveling wood panels, finishing or planing the top of a mouldboard, but also for trimming and cutting grooves/grooves. Great replacement tool for wood carpenters!
Cons
  • Cable shorter than other picks

Went like clockwork.

Economical hard application tip. I was skeptical after reading some of the other reviews. But after using it for a bit I think there was some user error in previous reviews. Measure your depth. If it is larger than the thickness of the drill, you will have to make several passes with different depths of cut. I used a solid base router, so I pre-drilled the starting point with a Forstner bit before installing this CNC bit. Photos by other reviewers showing twisted bits may be due to bit…

Pros
  • Used on CNC machines and other automatic routers, as well as manual and portable benchtop routers. For example woodworking engraving machine, trimming machine.
Cons
  • Crumpled

Small workhorse

I had a large white oak panel with a living edge, about 9 feet long and 2.5 feet wide, with a crease and crease in several places. White oak is a heavy and hard wood. It's even harder than American walnut, so I was rightfully skeptical about the effectiveness of this bait. I started on the bottom of the board as it was flatter and I figured that once I had leveled one side it would be easier to level the other side. I built a carriage for the router, found the highest point on the slab, hooked…

Pros
  • CNC MILLING APPLICATION: Suitable for machining solid wood, MDF, laminate, chipboard, plywood compact board, acrylic, etc. Avoid cutting metal and non-wood materials.
Cons
