Review on Optimized Spoilboard Surfacing Method: NITOMAK by Daniel Shankle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Went like clockwork.

Economical hard application tip. I was skeptical after reading some of the other reviews. But after using it for a bit I think there was some user error in previous reviews. Measure your depth. If it is larger than the thickness of the drill, you will have to make several passes with different depths of cut. I used a solid base router, so I pre-drilled the starting point with a Forstner bit before installing this CNC bit. Photos by other reviewers showing twisted bits may be due to bit coercion, bit mismatch, or simply bit stress from cutting the wrong way. Just my two cents. Excellent price. Just what I needed to cut out some recesses for attaching the table legs.

Pros
  • Used on CNC machines and other automatic routers, as well as manual and portable benchtop routers. For example woodworking engraving machine, trimming machine.
Cons
  • Crumpled
