Review on πŸ”Œ APDTY 015333 Injection Pressure Sensor Pigtail: Replacement for 5C3Z-12224-A, 1832022C92 by Shigg Bigbee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exact fit for 2003 6.0 Powerstroke

Definitely lots of pigtailing with this fork. However, you should definitely buy a Ford ICP sensor and not waste your time on anything else. It cost $150 from the dealer and was in stock. Remember to make sure the old ICP o-ring came out with the sensor. If there is oil in the spark plug, replace the stem. As for bulletproof with protection, I would like to give some advice to owners of 03-04. Either buy it or find someone with a "spark plug boot boot". You only need one. Then get a piece of "Exhaust Heat Shield" that looks like a foil heat shield with cotton balls inside. Non-flammable. Wrap the connector harness tightly in a heat shield using appropriate heat resistant tape. Next, take your boot insulation and wrap it in thermal insulation material just enough to use a stapler with stainless steel staples. The bottom line is that the cuff slides over the harness, presses onto the connector for your ICP, and uses the outer sleeve to slide the cuff over the connector and sensor. Voila, three layers of thermal barrier will protect your investment and keep you from doing it for a long time. Added photos to see the trunk with the outer screen slide right over the wiring harness AND the sensor once connected. Oh, solder and shrink your wire connections too.
