FOLLOW-UP 4/27/13 (after 9 months of use): Still working great. The engine still sounds powerful and revs the engine well. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this hoping to save a few bucks (which is often a worry). I compared it to a stocker and it seemed similar. It was installed the same as the old one. I had no problems with aligning anything and such. I turned the key and voila, it started right away. If he survives, I'll be a happy camper. The body, engine, etc. were the same as the production unit. I even reused the protective plastic sleeve from the stock unit. I installed it on a Volvo 850.
