Review on ☕ Mueller Electric Gooseneck Pour Over Coffee Set - Stainless Steel Kettle & Drip Coffee Maker, Matte Finish by Genene Locson

Very stylish, a few flaws

Was looking for a kettle and coffee maker combo to give to my parents (whom I was visiting during the pandemic). This set is exactly what you need! The kettle is oversized, as is the coffee maker, and the style of these pieces falls somewhere between modern and rustic. Most other kettles I've seen look *too* like household appliances. If it makes sense Stainless steel, digital displays, buttons and dials everywhere, chunky. Or they looked too vulgar, colorful textured ceramics. This set is like no other. Solid black with a matte texture. They will look great in any kitchen! Cons are only steam, the kettle is not insulated so it gets very hot. Make sure to hold it by the handle, *not* touching the body when it's hot! The lack of insulation also means the case is just a thin sheet of metal that can easily dent if I'm not careful. The second downside is really nothing. Müller is an Austrian brand and you can see it on their warning labels and instruction manuals. I could understand everything, but the wording was strange in some places. The coffee maker is very stylish. The insulated ring is ideal for pouring coffee after brewing and the metal filter is very easy to clean. I used to use a French Press and while I liked it, the screen and plungers were always difficult to clean. Just rinse it off and you're done. In general I am very satisfied. The downsides don't matter in my opinion, it just looks so pretty on the shelf!
