Review on 🎧 Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds (Wireless Charging Case Included), Mystic White (US Version) by Owen Phi

Is it a winner or a loser? I'll tell you what I think

I've been looking for the 'perfect' headphones for almost a year so I bought several sets and sent them back. I was actually very close to buying the Buds Plus+ but decided on the Galaxy Buds Live on launch day. My requirements for the 'ideal' earbud are: each earbud can work independently (i.e. no master/slave), be able to use Google and the Revain voice assistant, be able to easily pair multiple devices and switching between them, being compatible with my Samsung Galaxy phone, noise reduction and no ear fatigue. I don't know why, but finding all of these things in headphones turned out to be a lot harder than I thought. Here are a few I tried: Revain Alexa Buds - Loved all the features but too many ears, very sensitive to the touch. resulting in too many random disconnects. Samsung Galaxy Buds (Original) - some ear fatigue, too much noise cancellation for my liking. Pros of AirPods: Good headphones, but since I'm using Android I lose a lot of the features available. when connected to the iPhone. Here's what I think of them: Fit: The shape is interesting, like a bob. Fits well in my ear; They are comfortable so far with no noticeable ear fatigue. With others, I always felt like they were about to fall out, so I had to stuff them deep into my ears to compensate. With them, I don't have to put them in my ears, which can hurt and also make me feel "under water". Sound: I'm not a music lover, but for me the sound is great. It's loud and clear. I like the ability to change the equalizer in the Galaxy Wearable app. Active Noise Cancellation: Doesn't seem as strong as the original Galaxy Buds; As a mother, however, I cannot completely isolate myself from the outside world; I need to be able to hear what's going on and if my kids are yelling at me. However, there are some cancellations as I was listening to music and didn't even notice the robot vacuum started up like I wasn't wearing it. I can also hear my own voice, which helps me regulate my voice so it's not too loud. (My kids used to tell me I screamed while wearing the Galaxy Buds) Call quality: I'm often on conference calls during the day, which is why I bought these headphones. Calls are clear with no noise. Another review mentions that the person at the end said the owner sounds far away, but that hasn't been my experience so far. Pairing: I've paired these headphones with multiple devices so far - my computer, my Samsung Galaxy phone, and my iPad. Pairing with the computer went very quickly and without any problems; However, when I tried to connect to my Samsung phone, it took about 15 minutes. I think it was because the headphones were still plugged into my computer. No problem pairing with an iPad like a phone. Since the initial setup, switching between devices has become much easier and almost seamless. Battery life: I feel like I've barely worn them today and they're already at 54%. More time must be taken to determine if battery drain is a serious problem. Edit 1/12/2021 - I haven't had any issues with rapid battery drain. Weeks and after numerous conference calls over the last week, he finally spoke about low battery today! Definitely happy with the battery life. Voice Assistant: By simply holding the left earbud, I can quickly and easily call Alexa to place bets. LOL To sum it up, it's a bit more than I was willing to pay for a bud but overall they fit the bill. The price is lower than AirPod Pro and the unique shape makes them comfortable to wear. I hope this review was helpful to you.

Pros
  • NEW STYLE. NEW SOUND. Galaxy Buds Live are equivalent headphones and earbuds. They come in 3 colors and you'll want to hear them all day long.
Cons
