Kitchen Scissors: Cutlery & Knife Accessories

I bought these kitchen scissors from Revain a few weeks ago. I used them every day when I was slicing up raw chicken to feed my dogs. The scissors look like a surgical instrument made of stainless steel. You have a "good" feeling of heaviness in your hands. Scissors cut chicken bones very effectively. As they are used in the catering industry, they break into two parts for cleaning and have a small spring between the parts. Spring comes for cleaning too. Since the spring was easy to lose, I went to a large store and bought extra scissor springs. Otherwise I know I'll lose the pen and I won't be able to use the scissors anymore. The scissors "do not" cut the chicken skin well, the skin falls between the two blades of the scissors. I fixed this by buying two regular kitchen shears from Sam's Club for about $11. The last scissors cut easily and very well through the chicken skin. I originally bought an earlier set of the same kitchen scissors from Sam's Club to cut chicken, the handles on both scissors broke within a few weeks because they weren't strong enough to cut chicken bones. Rarely do you buy a product that fully meets your expectations, these kitchen scissors have fully met my expectations. I highly recommend them. Peter
