They have amazing qualities. Great cushion and arch support! They don't have an insole but the green part is glued on and I assume it will be at some point. You can wrap your fingers around it and lift it up a bit. They fit great. They give little but not much. However, these are women's 8.5 and I take a large width (ball of foot is 4 inches) and they are comfortable. I was surprised how quickly they dry. I bought these for my upcoming Caribbean cruise to go by land and sea. They have been great in my house, outdoors and by the pool. The casing is glued to the sole tip with waterproof silicone, the holes in the bottom allow it to dry for a long time and water to drain, but watch those stones get stuck and branches stick out. But the holes have depth to protect you. I'm saving them for the holidays. After that I'm curious how long they last. Due to the materials used, I calculate about 6 months. I go to the pool every other day and run 3 miles on our lazy river. For those who don't abuse them as much as I do, they will likely last longer. The biggest problem is measuring the foot and using the size chart. This is a great little water shoe with more support to help stabilize the foot. I gave them 4 because I feel the construction could have been a bit better for the price.
